End-User License Agreement (EULA)

This End-User License Agreement (referred to as “EULA”) is a legal agreement between you (referred to as “you” or “your”) and The Language House (referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”). This EULA governs your use of The Language House’s software, including any associated documentation (collectively referred to as the “Software”). By installing, using, or accessing the Software, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this EULA.
1. License Grant
1.1 License: Subject to the terms and conditions of this EULA, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software for personal, non-commercial purposes.
1.2 Scope: This license allows you to use the Software solely for its intended purpose as described in the documentation provided with the Software.
2. Restrictions
2.1 Prohibited Uses: You may not:
- Modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the Software.
- Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices from the Software.
- Rent, lease, loan, or sublicense the Software to any third party.
- Use the Software in any manner that violates applicable laws or regulations.
3. Ownership
3.1 Ownership: The Software is owned by The Language House and is protected by copyright laws and international treaties. All rights, title, and interest in and to the Software, including all intellectual property rights, remain with The Language House.
4. Updates and Support
4.1 Updates: We may provide updates, bug fixes, and enhancements to the Software. You are responsible for ensuring that you use the latest version of the Software.
4.2 Support: We may provide technical support for the Software as described in the documentation. However, we are not obligated to provide support, and the availability of support may be subject to change.
5. Termination
5.1 Termination: This EULA is effective until terminated. Your rights under this license will terminate automatically without notice if you breach any of its terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and destroy all copies of the Software in your possession.
6. Disclaimer of Warranty
6.1 As-Is Basis: The Software is provided “as is” and without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
7. Limitation of Liability
7.1 No Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Software.
8. Governing Law
8.1 Governing Law: This EULA is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Insert Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of law principles.
9. Entire Agreement
9.1 Entire Agreement: This EULA constitutes the entire agreement between you and The Language House regarding the Software and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.
